Mudgee Corner Store

The poached chicken sandwich and cap I had for breakfast was the best in Mudgee locality. The chicken was tender and the cap was very flavourful. A must try!

Going off the website this place seemed super funky. Is a nice little store with great possibility however I was a bit disappointed. Went there to grab breakfast before hitting the road and just wanted scrambled eggs on toast. I was told 'we don't do scrambled eggs'. Sure, fine, it wasn't on the menu so I can't complain. However eggs were.. and toast was, so I really don't see why they don't do scrambled eggs. Ended up have peanut butter on toast (how very exciting). One of the butter portions I had been provided had already been opened and half used. Yuk. Just yuk.

Great Fish River Roasters coffee. The zucchini slice and salad was delicious. A great Gluten Free option for me. My spouse tried the zucchini cauliflower and bacon frittata- also delicious. Pleasant and cool space to have lunch.

Yeah, well it was just a quick cuppa coffee that I was after but I ended up getting some beetroot relish. Have to admit the pricing is a little bit high for what it is. I think $12 for a beetroot relish which was quite small jar.
