This is one of my favourite places to visit when in Sydney. My partner and I went to see a brilliant band who played some excellent Rolling Stones covers in their first set recently. We enjoyed a great vantage point to see the band whilst sitting at the bar and grazed on some lovely food platters. Unfortunately, we could not stay for the second set and now we can't wait to return.
Beware ! $ 20 cover charge to have drinks at the bar after midnight . Late night band is no longer free. Plenty of places in newton like Kelly,s etc free entry for live music till 4 am . Try new jazz venues celies n brass monkey etc
A great event in a good atmosphere. A lot of stairs to the venue so be aware. Prices for food and drinks a little high but quality. Can get busy in quite a small space so get in early.
Great atmosphere! My brilliant sister was lead singer in 'Motown and Beyond' and lazybones was the perfect place for her to shine. Bar service was fast and drinks were delish, if a bit pricey and limited for choice. Plenty of seating available too.
I had an incredible time at this jazz music bar and restaurant! The live jazz performances were phenomenal, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The musicians showcased their immense talent, and the music was captivating. The food and drinks were also top-notch, with a great selection to choose from. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable experience. If you're a jazz enthusiast looking for a delightful evening, this place is a must-visit!
