Absolutely amazing bunch of people! Everyone is super friendly! I had a vegan Sandwhich which was amazing and a delicious latte! Plenty of plant based milks and great brands! Julie and Charlotte were absolutely lovely! Was incredible! A real French experience in Sydney 🇫🇷
La Vie & Belle Bakery in Rose Bay is a little slice of Paris by the sea, absolutely charming and filled with the most beautifully made French pastries and baked goods. I tried the Bastille éclair, which was delicate, creamy and so beautifully decorated! Almost too pretty to eat (but too delicious not to!) and loved the Berry flavoured cream to match the flags colours. The canelé had the perfect caramelised crust with a soft, custardy centre. The strawberry tart was fresh and delicate, with just the right amount of sweetness. The croissant was buttery, flaky perfection and paired perfectly with their smooth, well-balanced coffee. I also had a salami baguette, which was fresh, crusty on the outside, and packed with flavour. Every bite tasted like something you'd find in a Parisian café. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with super friendly staff. A perfect stop whether you're grabbing a quick pastry or sitting down to enjoy a slow morning. Can't wait to return and try more!
Delicious french treats! Had a quick coffee break, including tasty savouries, with a friend here. Great coffee and very tasty food! Had to get some of the scrumptious looking cakes and another ham & cheese croissant to take home! The Choc Berry Slice and Chocolate Twist were both delish! Will have to go back and work my way through the display cabinet and the bread counter! Popular on a Saturday morning & can get quite busy. Limited seating outside, but the 2 small tables inside are the best option for a cold day! Recommend 👌🏻
Beautiful pastries and cakes! You really can taste that these are authentic, from the French vanilla cream to the French butter clearly used in their pastries. I haven’t had a pain au chocolate this good in a long time. Stunning Fraisier for two strawberry cake, and it comes in a bigger size too! I think this one was my favourite. Also don’t sleep on the savoury - the triangle feta spinach pastry was so fresh, and the chicken baguette is great.
A little bit of France down under! I'm from France and oh my GOD how much I love this bakery. Mouth-watering products, delicious food, friendly and smiley staff, and cute tables out front to sit down and enjoy. Would recommend 100% 👌
