Cocoa Bar

Worst café experience I’ve had in Newport Beach. Coco Bar Café was completely unwelcoming—the younger staff member seemed annoyed that we even walked in. No customers at all, which should have been a warning. A simple order of a juice and coffee took forever. My “long black with a dash of milk” was just cold milk with a shot of coffee. The juice took nearly 10 minutes, and the staff member making it gave up and walked away, leaving someone else to finish. Poor service, poor attitude, and zero professionalism. The owner should know the staff are actively driving customers away. I won’t be back.

The worst breakfast food I’ve ever had. Was actually inedible. This is their so called “Newport smash”. Disgusting. A teaspoon worth of some avo dip (I’m assuming), no tomato, no feta but a random flower fried egg? Will not ever order from or eat here again. (Moved spinach to the side in the photo to show how much avocado there was)

Bacon and egg roll hit the spot in all the right places 😁 their ice coffee was delicious and the service was super friendly.

Cocoa Bar is a very inviting place with amazing staff. Got the Newport Smash, and it was very tasty. Would definitely come back!

This small cafe made a big impression. The coffee was hot and heavenly✔ The gourmet bacon and egg roll was served hot ✔ (not luke warm) and the homemade sweet chilli sauce really complemented the bacon and egg without overpowering, cutting through the flavours. The rocket helped refresh the pallet ✔ The milkshake was in tin not paper or a glass jam jar, even though it was a jug 😂 Great breakfast after a morning swim, I'll be back.
