Subset 27 is a pub in Edmondson Park with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 550m away, Russell Copeman Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
"I had a fantastic experience at Subset 27! This place perfectly balances a high-end cocktail bar vibe with a warm, welcoming restaurant atmosphere. It is easily one of the best spots in Edmondson Park for a night out. The Food: The menu is an impressive mix of Modern Australian classics. The Chicken Parmigiana was cooked to perfection, and the Grilled Octopus was incredibly tender and well-seasoned. We also shared some Salt and Pepper Calamari and one of their Wood-fired Pizzas, both of which were fresh and flavorful. They have a great range of options, making it easy to bring a big group. The Drinks: The mixology here is next level. The signature cocktails are a must-try, and they have a solid wine list and plenty of beers on tap for those looking for something classic. The Service & Atmosphere: The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Even when it got busy, the service was quick and attentive. The outdoor seating is lovely for a summer evening, and the interior is sleek and modern. Pro Tip: It gets very popular on weekends, so definitely book a table in advance! Whether you're looking for a casual lunch or a special dinner celebration, Subset 27 delivers every time. Highly recommended!"
From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the modern yet cozy vibe — lush greenery cascading from the ceilings, warm lighting, & stylish interiors that make it perfect for both casual dining & special occasions. The staff were attentive, friendly, & made us feel welcome right away. Now the food… wow! Every dish we tried was a standout. The sizzling seafood platter came out piping hot, loaded with prawns, mussels & veggies — fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented with a side of rice. The lamb ragu was pure comfort in a bowl, with tender meat & silky pappardelle pasta. The slow-cooked beef dish was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, perfectly paired with creamy mash & seasonal greens. The menu offers something for everyone, from hearty schnitzels to premium steaks & vibrant pastas. Generous portions, premium ingredients, & spot-on execution. Verdict: A delightful dining experience that ticks all the boxes — atmosphere, service, & incredible food. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!
If I could afford to eat oysters every week, Subset 27 would be my go-to spot. The oysters are huge and incredibly fresh! It’s my top choice whenever I’m craving oysters (which is pretty much every day). Highly recommend the oysters, and the service is top-notch. The server who attended to me was exceptionally friendly and attentive.
Booking a table online is easy. When we got there we were greated by a very friendly and helpful young lady who made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere is great. Tables are spaced well and not crammed in. We ordered entree's via the QR code, then went to the bar to order drinks. Probably the best priced drinks in the area. Both the entree's and drinks were brought to our table quite fast. From that drinks order on, the bar staff remembered what table we were from. Mains were well priced and a generous size. Can't complain about the quality either. Absolutely loved it. Tonight was my first time here and I'll definitely be back.
There’s plenty of seating on a weekday, you enter and find yourself a table. You order my QR code or at the bar there’s no table service. The food we ordered were both salty. The ribs are quite nice and tangy, chips are not salty as they should be & tasteless. Aioli was very garlicky. Couldn’t taste the bbq on the Octopus and it was very salty. The best dish was the ribs.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
