LuMi Dining is a pub in Pyrmont. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 150m away, Pyrmont Bay Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
We’ve been going to Lumi consistently for over five or six years and have always been blown away by their dishes and service. The highlights for me would be their snack game - each one looking pretty as a picture and even better to eat. We love it so much that we have spent our 20th to 23rd wedding anniversary each year there. Lumi is where you go if you want to celebrate a special occasion but even if you don’t have one - I’d suggest you make one up to enjoy the experience. Definitely my top two in Australia.
LuMi Dining – One of Sydney’s Quiet Masterpieces LuMi is not flashy. It doesn’t chase trends or shock value. Instead, it delivers one of the most refined, balanced and confident tasting menus I’ve had in Sydney. We had the full 18-course tasting, and every course felt intentional and thoughtfully paced. Highlights were exceptional — the abalone toast was deeply savoury and buttery with incredible umami depth; the beetroot and ocean trout with roe was beautifully balanced and precise; and the rosette dish showcased incredible knife work and restraint. The lobster pasta and the mains were outstanding, rich, perfectly cooked and deeply satisfying — everything worked, except the quail, which was technically good but less memorable than the rest. The seafood and fruit courses were bright and refreshing, and the desserts finished the meal with warmth and nostalgia rather than unnecessary theatrics. Service was calm, professional and well-paced, and the dining room felt serene and quietly luxurious. LuMi is a restaurant for people who appreciate precision, balance and confidence in cooking rather than hype. A destination restaurant, and easily one of Sydney’s most memorable fine-dining experiences. Highly recommended.
Now we’re cookin’! We’ve dined here a couple of times and even though we’ve only gone with the tasting menu and not the full omakase, each visit has been great. Chef Federico has found the perfect fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine and turned it into one of Sydney’s best dining experiences.
The food at Lumi Dining was creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. eEach dish felt perfectly balanced and thoughtfully crafted. The service matched the quality of the cuisine: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm without being overbearing. From the ambiance to the pacing of the meal, everything was seamless. Special thanks to Chef Federico for looking after us and making the experience even more memorable. A true highlight of Sydney’s fine dining scene, highly recommended.
My experience at Lumi tonight was BEYOND spectacular. Words cannot describe how amazing our night was, but I will attempt to in this review. Before even arriving, I called the restaurant to see if they were able to shift our booking to accommodate our slight change in schedule, to which the staff were so accommodating to my request! The food to say the least was an absolute DELIGHT! Never in my life have I ever experienced such unique and interesting tastes before. Every single bite of food was a FLAVOUR EXPLOSION! 🤯🤯🤯 Yet, the thing that sets Lumi apart from all the other fine dining restaurants I’ve visited is the superb service! Everyone was so attentive and thoughtful towards making our night so memorable. Big shout out to Will and the super knowledgeable bartender who I sadly didn’t catch the name of - thank you so much for making our dinner so special!!! 🥹☺️ I one hundred percent IMPLORE you to please give Lumi a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
