Rose Bay Cafe

We went pass by it on a Sunday morning and noticed the crepe signboard they put outside to attract customers. However, not until we sat down and started to order, the waiter said the crepe machine broke yesterday. Why on earth why they put the crepe signboard outside if they can’t provide it?? Isn’t it false advertising. We decided to give other food a try, but it came with a big disappointment. their other food quality is below average, not fresh, like home made style, not worth the money at all. For simple food, it took them aaaages to prepare. I genuinely could not understand why. When we finished, the customer service asked how our food was, I wasn’t too fussy usually and would just politely say yes good as courtesy, but for this place, I just could not say the word good out. I was disappointed in how they market it, together with their quality and speed. I think they should know this so that they can improve. Running a cafe is not easy, but at $25, at least offer cafe level food, not home level meal, which is not even the good level home meal. It’s not easy for consumers to earn money either. At least show some respect to the customer’s taste bud. Can only give the credit to the shop fit out and the coffee is not bad.

To be fair I only had the ginger and lemon tea...that had very little taste. I saw the tea bag but did not taste the flavour. I could have brought my own tea bag from home, or better yet, I should have just had tea at home! Maybe the coffee and food are better. The atmosphere and service was good though.

Had such a great time at Rose Bay Cafe —everyone is very hospitable and made us feel really welcome. The service is spot on, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can tell they really care about what they do. Kudos to the masterful coffee art! 🐰 And thank you for the delicious dessert! 🙏

I stumbled upon this café while out and about, and I must say that the environment is adorable and clean, the food is a fusion of local cuisine and Asian flavors, both visually appealing and delicious. The owners and staff are very friendly, especially the owner who was very patient in introducing the food options to us... The gentle music, adorable environment, and food make this place highly recommended for everyone to experience!

Good! Wasn't blown away by the food as much as I expected. The menu looks really good but we found the portions too small and the food itself was a little dry. The staff was really lovely however, and the drinks were just the way we love them. Don't think it was bad. Just not as good 🤷🏼‍♀️
