Sanctuary Beach
Sanctuary Beach is a dog-friendly beach in Sanctuary Point with on-leash walking areas. There's also calm, shallow water here, ideal for dogs that like a gentle paddle. Just 450m away, Basin Walking Track is a nearby option to stop in after your walk.
Dog rules
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Sanctuary Beach, a Shoalhaven City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control in public places throughout the Shoalhaven, except in Council's designated off-leash areas. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas.
