This experience was lovely as a family dining out for lunch as the staff were so welcoming and made us feel so at home in their Colombian style restaurant. We waited about 20-30 minutes for our food but it was well worth the wait as the meals were delicious. We had the pork belly which was quite nice but I felt that it could have done with a more crispy crackly outer layer. The seafood fettuccini was also very nice and had a curry/coconutty aspect to it. This is a hit or miss for many as I loved it but some others didn’t as much. The chicken and gnocchi was very well cooked and presented and was rated a 10/10. This was especially highlighted by the sauce which was zesty with a tinge of spice. Lastly we ordered the barramundi which was incredible and was paired with delicious fries. The fish was cooked to perfection and the capers, olives, and tomatoes accompanied it perfectly.
I LOVE their chicken and mushroom crepe. I’ve been back 3x just for this 😳
Beehive in Hunters Hill is a welcoming local spot with a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to relax. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the menu offers a nice balance of fresh, simple dishes alongside comforting favorites. Coffee is consistently well-made, and the food is presented with care. It feels like the kind of place that values both quality and community. A great option for catching up with friends or enjoying a casual meal in the area.
We had a lovely Mother’s Day lunch, $75 per head 3 courses all of which were lovely. Friendly service despite the elevated pressures of the day.
We had a very pleasant lunch experience here. The server was friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure our dietary requirements were catered for. The food was delicious and arrived promptly, and I also liked that the menu had some more interesting options than just your typical cafe fare. Would highly recommend!
