We absolutely loved the vibes and food from here. It was pretty quiet when we went for an early dinner so the service was extremely attentive and friendly. Their cocktails are refreshing and the dishes are well executed.

Bar Patron for a birthday event. Took the long lunch option. Fabulous food and certainly plenty. The whole lunch menu bar the chorizo was gluten free. Service was very good, it flowed and was non invasive whilst eating. Views of the harbour added to the experience. DJ played music soft enough to hear but could still chat. Would definitely recommend.

We took the longlunch with bottomless drinks. While the food was full of flavors and well presented. The cocktail drinks were hurriedly prepared. The Paloma, Marg and spicy Marg didnt have the alcohol content of the normal cocktail. And felt like it wasnt presented as a cocktail. I guess that’s the whole kick of the “bottomless drinks”. I didnt saw how they were prepared but felt like they just poured them straight from a pitcher. So the whole thing felt like a bamboozle. The circular quay views were okay, not the greatest. So just something to take note if you are expecting something grand at the exquisite Bar Patron at the Circular Quay. Still a great value for money though. I timidly recommend!

With its proximity to the Opera House, Bar Patron is a perfect pre show dining option. Of course its cocktails are excellent. If you score the right position there is a great view of the Harbour (especially from the bar). It can get very noisy but has a really positive, happy vibe. The menu is well described as “Mexican inspired” and works pretty well for non-carnivores. We enjoyed the pumpkin empanadas and a very good guacamole. Service is professional, friendly and efficient. It’s refreshing to have a great location, good food, excellent drinks at a price that isn’t equivalent to the GDP of a small country. Bookings are essential.

What an experience. We came with friends for the long lunch. There is SO much food which was incredible. It all came out progressively so was nice to enjoy. Cocktails were amazing. Much better than the bottomless I had been too before. But I really think our waiter Andres made the experience. He was so attentive, friendly, approachable and receptive to any questions or queries we had. He really made our experience. It was a good friends birthday and was wonderful. Thanks again.
