We've set up here a few times and absolutely loved working at this venue for first birthdays! We brought in our softplay hire and a balloon backdrops - the space was ideal, well lit and intimate. Clean, spacious, and beautifully lit, with plenty of parking to make the day run smoothly. The staff were fantastic - friendly, attentive, and super helpful from start to finish. It’s a brilliant spot for any kind of celebration. Already looking forward to the next event here! 🎈

Stopped for rooftop drinks with friends who recommended this place. Wow great view and venue. Luckily the sun was shining and the cold beers and coctails were well received. Worth visiting for the views

What a beautiful hidden gem! We celebrated a birthday at Governor Hotel and absolutely loved it. Such a gorgeous place near Macquarie Park with three levels of entertainment and stunning interiors. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, the food is delicious and the prices are really good for such quality. Everything feels stylish, cozy and special. Highly recommend this place for celebrations or just a lovely night out. We’ll definitely be back!

Came here for an impromptu Christmas catchup with some colleagues from Melbourne. We sat in the bistro area on Level 1, which was busy but not crowded on a Thursday evening. Food is plentiful albeit usual pub fare, prices are reasonable. They do a mean margarita that doesn’t skimp on the Tequila. About a 10 minute walk to Macquarie Park metro station if you’ve left the car at home.

Booked and tried the trivia night on Tuesday. It was fairly busy for a Tuesday night with most people getting into trivia. The night was fun (we had no chance of winning). The food was ok, usual pub fare. It did take a long time (over an hour) because of a it issue but they did give us a round of drinks. The “special” of the night, chicken shnitty and chips looked good for $18. Worth coming up for trivia, it’s a good laugh.
