Charming coffee shop with a lot of space and both indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the almon and orange cake. Coffee was bitter, which I'm not a fun of but it's a personal preference. Also loved how they served my "to go" coffee on my cup!! Definitely recommend!
The food was tasteless across all the meals we ordered. The coffee also seemed to be made by someone unfamiliar with how to prepare it properly. The iced caramel lattes had barely two pieces of ice and lacked any n caramel flavor. Overall, it was a waste of money and felt like a tourist trap for people visiting Hyams Beach—save your money. The only positive aspect worth mentioning was the friendly and attentive service from the staff.
Came in the afternoon for a late lunch, luckily they were still serving food. Friendly and welcoming staff, good food and reasonable price. Especially good vegetarian and vegan options. Would come again!
Popped into the Cooked Goose last Sunday morning for breakfast with my daughter and her partner. Great to be able to say it was a delight: the staff were friendly and prompt, the coffee just right, the food tasty and well presented. Didn't have to wait long to be served, both on arrival and for the food. Reasonably priced as well. Ideal place for breakfast, especially on a sunny morning and the beauty of Hyams Beach a stones throw away.
At the beachside restaurant with a great view, this place is very popular. I ordered their recommended dish, fish and chips. The taste was okay, but the batter was a bit too thick, which slightly affected the texture. However, this might vary depending on personal preferences.
