Staff were engaging, and friendly, service was great Had the lunchtime schnitzel, you'd go a long way ro find a more tasty, tender, juicey schnitzel Salad not bad at all, dressing just right Only negative was chips could've been hotter I'll be back as between Gerringong, and Husky that's the best I've had Bought the Scotch fillet today medium rare on the side of rare $42 Steak was dry refused to eat Salads have dropped in quality mainly leaf no substance Shame used to like eating there time to find somewhere decent Hopefully chef understands what crossed knife, and fork means what's in steak pic I left on plate
We went today for the third time, the first time we went the food was great, the second time the potato scallops were burnt, but today took the cake! Curry in the batter on potato scallops when the menu clearly states salt and vinegar seasoning? The minute we sat the plate on the table curry was all we could smell, did anyone even think that people might be allergic to curry as my husband is! What the menu says is what should be on the plate! We won’t be back.
Long wait for food, 3 other numbers on our table got theirs long before ours and had finished by the time ours was ready, we only ordered simple meals too. When going up to see what the delay was, I witnessed my daughters kids cheese pizza being patted down with bare hands before being put into the oven.. anyway, upon eating my steak sandwich I cut it in half, first half was very nice, second half had a big piece of griddle running through it, as I looked at the steak I noticed a black hair amongst everything. Not cool guys.
Nice tavern and the staff were really friendly, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. I ordered the ravioli for $25 and received only eight pieces, and they weren’t very nice. My partner ordered a schnitzel for $25 and paid an extra $6 for carbonara sauce, which ended up being mostly plain white sauce with barely any bacon. We actually ended up stopping at Hungry Jack’s afterwards because we were still hungry, which is rare for me being a size 6. The venue itself was lovely, but the food quality and value for money really let it down.
Newly renovated space, very fresh feel. Friendly, helpful staff doing a great job on a busy weekend. Due to the busyness, it was very loud, but I imagine weekdays would be much calmer. Great to see multiple GF and DF options. Mum and I chose to share the sweet potato wedges and the salt and pepper calamari. Both were light, beautifully seasoned and good sized servings. Very yummy.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
