Jervis Bay Cabins & Camping is a waterside dog-friendly park in Woollamia where dogs are welcome on lead. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking before you visit.
Dogs permitted on-leash under Shoalhaven City Council default policy (Companion Animals Act 1998). Not listed in the council's designated off-leash areas.
Overall was a great value option if you want to stay at a cabin. I saw some reviews which were raised a few concerns but none of those were issues I faced whilst staying there. Everything was clean within the cabins and public bathrooms were mostly good, apart from some other members forgetting to flush toilets or keeping the sink running (male) Kitchen worked fine. Don't expect a 5 star cooking experience but was able to cook relatively easily without issue. Showering without hot water was fine, but remember to bring a dollar if you can't handle cold water. Only minor inconviences were that the cabin gets hot throughout the day, easily fixed with the solid ceiling fan and the fact that you'll probably be in town during the day. Some bug windows requiring some repairs and limited outlets to charge stuff. Other than that everything was great, beds were comfortable, great curtains, lots of amenities you can expect from an accommodation like this all for a reasonable price of $125pn for the cheapest cabin I highly recommended accommodation as long as you're aware of the limitations of going for the value/shared option and slightly further away from the Jervis Bay area.
We had the most amazing two nights. The camp ground is beautiful and we were lucky to be one of the only people staying there. The sights are picturesque, facilities clean and super convenient. Tracey was incredibly helpful and so nice! We had a lovely afternoon kayak on the river next to the camp and the hiring fee was incredibly reasonable as well as the price per night. Its wonderful being able to have an open fire and cook on it and the stars at night are magic! The location is also fantastic and your super close to all the wonderful white sand beaches near by. We will be back for sure hopefully sooner than later!
I love this place, beautiful star filled skies of a night. Gorgeous surroundings, great staff and facilities. Plenty of wild life and places to explore. Well maintained grounds for camping all sites have their own fire pit and the office has wood if you need. Kayaks and canoes to float down the magical river. Tracey and Kev the owners are so helpful and friendly. The place is secure and at a great price. It is also eco friendly with cold showers for all or only a $1 for a nice hot one, no water wastage which is great. I can’t wait to get back!
I have camped here a few times and love the place. The last time a couple of weeks ago in April. There are not many places left that you can have a camp fire on your site, fish from the front of your tent in a campground with a lot of birds, animals and trees. The camp has a nice feel about it ! I have read a couple of the reviews complaining about the ammenities, they are a short walk away from the campsites but are kept remarkable clean. The staff are pretty friendly, helpful and no nonsense people. Will definitely be back...........
Very convenient location just 10 minutes drive to Huskisson centre. Amenities were clean and accessible. Powered and unpowered tent sites were next to creek. Fire places were in the right spot and accessible for everyone. Would have been nicer and more convenient if the site manager could send the check-in details (pins and arrival time and conditions etc) to guests prior to their arrival. This way guests will have the option to arrange their arrival and being aware of all the applied rules and conditions.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
