Fairway Drive Reserve is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Castle Hill where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shade nearby.
Under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be on-leash at all times in all parks and public places. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's playground equipment and food preparation areas, from active sports fields during organised sport, public bathing areas, school grounds, and child care centres. Dog faeces must be removed immediately. (Source: The Hills Shire Council — Stay out of the Doghouse, thehills.nsw.gov.au.)
Nice park with swings, green grass area, toddler swings and slide, plus big slide for older kids, and stepping stones. With shade over playground. It also has a handball court and basketball ring. There's a few benches, some with cover and a bubbler. There's no toilets and minimal parking next to the park. Can park around the corner.
Good location, bang on the Fairway Drive. Few parkings available around the park. Great place for kids. No toilets or barbeque area. There's a covered area for picnic or small outdoor party.
A small neighbourhood park with some children's play equipment. There used to be a circular large swing but its now empty? There's still normal swings, a teepee, large slide, some grass area for picnics. Would have liked it more if there was more shade. In the afternoon can be quite hot, the shade sails aren't designed for that time very well as it doesn't cover much of the playground.
Great play space for kids 2-9yrs. Shaded seating for parents and tables and fresh water supplied
One of the best parks around Norwest suitable for all ages. Specifically below 12 years. Basketball 🏀 court could have been a turf and kids friendly. Otherwise anytime busy.. do spend time here in summer. Kids will enjoy their evening..
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
