What people say
Everything we had, the beef burger, steak sandwich, and waffles, was incredibly delicious and great value for money. But the scones were definitely the highlight of our meal! They were so good that I honestly forgot to take a photo before we devoured them. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I’m sad they’re closed for Australia Day tomorrow because I’d come back in a heartbeat. Don't miss this place!
I visited this café early in the morning and ordered three takeaway bacon and egg rolls. From the moment we approached the counter, the staff appeared frustrated and impatient. There was no greeting at all—just a blunt “What can I get you?” which immediately felt unwelcoming. While waiting for our order, we stood inside the café as it was pouring rain outside and there was very limited space. Unfortunately, we accidentally spilled a coffee on the floor and politely asked the staff for help to clean it up. Despite apologising multiple times, we received no response—only an unfriendly look that made us feel extremely uncomfortable, as if we had caused a major inconvenience. This showed a complete lack of customer service and basic hospitality. The food was also disappointing. The burgers were extremely oily, with oil dripping into the takeaway boxes (photos attached). This gave the impression that the food was not properly cooked or handled with care. Overall, this experience completely ruined my morning and left me feeling embarrassed for having recommended this café to my friends. This was my second visit, and it will definitely be my last. The staff were unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome. I was also charged a Sunday surcharge, yet the level of service did not justify it at all. If you choose to work in hospitality, professionalism, patience, and respect for customers should be a given.
Was recommended to go here by a customer of mine and we had a really great time! The food was delicious, the coffee was yummy & the staff were very helpful and friendly. We couldn’t believe how good the portions were with everything we ordered. We will definitely be back! The only thing we wished for was a better view of the airport that would’ve been awesome.
Visited for a quick brekky before a busy day and had a beautiful coffee and delicious bacon and egg roll. Prices are good and experience was lovely. We got ours takeaway and sat at the large timber tables under the shelters outside, a peaceful way to start our day. Thank you!
What a find! It doesn’t look like much but believe me when I say the food was unreal. The chef is extremely good at what he does. We ordered the corn fritters and fried egg on sourdough toast, both incredible. Best corn fritters I’ve ever had, the beetroot relish was to die for. Don’t miss this amazing cafe!!
