Great drinks, delicious pies. A decent stopover place with nearby parking, public toilets, visitor centre, and little kids playground. Awesome friendly service from the staff too!

Well worth the trip here!!! This is definitely a hidden gem. I highly recommend this place. Really warm place. Lovely friendly staff. Heart felt conversation. Fresh deserts and savoury dishes. Pies and cakes baked on-site. Generous portion size. Good place for a coffee or cold drink. Older age group atmosphere. Really great energy and welcoming. Children's play area close by. Plenty of parking. Accepts cash or card. Great place for a stroll in the park. Interesting views. Seating available at Cafe or at the park. Nice place to meet up with friends. I actually saw the pics of the in house prepared and made vanilla slice on fb and have had cravings ever since. I tried a few in my area and they didn't quite hit the spot. Well the vanilla slice from valley way cafe was OMG wow.. I couldnt just get 1.. The freshness is apparent! Each slice was very very generous. My favourite was the custard inside, it was perfectly creamy, tasty, not too sweet, pale in colour and a really good amount. The passionfruit and raspberry toppings were both equally as delicious. If you don't like it too sweet, then the original vanilla slice would be best. We also tried fresh made pies, fruit frappe, choc lava cake and toasties. These were all great, no complaints. All very satisfying. My daughter ordered another toastie straight after finishing the first. She said she loved the bread and it was really enjoyable. I tried the chicken and leak pie, with not much expectation but OMG again I was blown away by the flavours and freshness. I loved the mustard seeds in the sauce as well as the peices of soft chicken and cheesey mash potatoes on top. Again a generous serving size, plenty of flavour and freshly made in house. Now I know what a pie should taste like!!! I also took a plain pie home for my son which was also thoroughly enjoyed. Please support your small businesses! We will be back for more!

Came in on a Sunday, the owner was there full of smiles. She bakes everything on premises, and makes the best scones. Great atmosphere for an outing on a Sunday, definitely recommend. We enjoyed her passion fruit vanilla slice and a coffee.

The feeling of country stands out for me. A very welcoming owner and staff. I've been attending this cafe for a while now and I truly can't fault the customer service (very friendly). The lovely cakes and pies are delicious with a scrumptious coffee.

I have lived in the Hawkesbury for quite a few years now and struggled to find a good pie , the wife and children wanted to come to this cafe today and I indulged myself with one of there in house made pies and I was thoroughly pleased ,best pie I have had in the area. The service by the lovely young lady behind the counter who is working to help her mother run this little family business was very pleasant , a very well mannered young lady. I was so impressed with there pies, coffee and the kids cupcakes I actually went back in to let them know how good of a job they're doing and was even more impressed to find out there was 3 generations of beautiful women working in there today. I spent 17 years as a pastry chef and can say this place ticked all the boxes for me. Amazing work guys ! Keep it up . We will be back for more !
