Corn fritters live up to the description. Absolutely delicious and a generous sized serve. Perfect consistency, golden crunch outside, tender and tasty inside. Bacon side was perfectly crispy as requested. We were a party of six + two doggos. All our party enjoyed their brunch. The other two lads had the breakfast burritos, they hoovered them up. Our wives had the poached eggs, corn fritters (no bacon) and croissant. Great coffee and juice. All spot on. Staff are totally lovely too. Idyllic location. Dog friendly 🐶🐾
We go now on a semi regular basis, coffee is excellent, the food delicious & service excellent. Summer menu has something for Everyone & the Saturday Jazz sessions are so popular you have to book. Again there are moments of total joy, everything you could possibly want. They allow dogs into the garden areas & also spoil dogs with special treats. 👍🏽😍
We recently visited the Fat Goose a great spot in Killcare and well placed for those exploring Bouddi. The breakfast was genuinely delicious, with the breakfast burrito being a star. All the elements worked perfectly and the smoky chipotle sauce was great. Coffee here if fantastic, the baked goods hit the spot and the mango smoothie was perfect. We bought some of their local honey and a rhubarb and strawberry conserve, both are delicious. I would thoroughly recommend!
Really enjoyed our fresh brunch. The mushrooms were really really nice. Smoked salmon Bagels were soft and tasty
We had an amazing time at The Fat Goose in Killcare! The place has such a cozy and inviting vibe, with charming decor both inside and outside. Sitting outdoors overlooking the public wharf was a real treat—it’s the kind of spot where you can just sit back, relax, and soak in the beauty around you. The food was fresh and delicious, and the coffee hit the spot perfectly. Everything felt clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even better. Whether you're after a quick coffee or a relaxing meal with great views, this café is definitely worth a visit!
