I had coffee here 3 days in a row and breaky 2 days in a row while visiting family this past weekend. Service each time was lovely. Food delicious. Coffee is amazing! This cafe really makes you feel like your back in the mid 2000s when all the locals gave a crap about other people ❤️

Had takeaway coffee here a few times – it was always good. Tried the brunch today and was quite disappointed. The poached eggs were overly runny with watery whites, and the toast was thin with butter only in the center – it felt like minimal effort was put in. The bacon and egg roll also missed the mark; the egg was undercooked, and with one bite, it spilled all over the plate. Unfortunately, not a great brunch experience.

one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. After ordering, we sat at the only available table and politely asked the waitress if she could clear and clean it. She never returned, so I had to get up and ask again. This time, she directed us to take the cleaning spray and a filthy used cloth to clean the table ourselves. A few minutes later, two of the four coffees we ordered arrived. When the waitress placed them down, we asked for sugar. She said yes but, as you guessed, never brought it, leaving us to get up again to fetch it ourselves. We finished the two coffees, but the other two didn’t come. When we asked, it turned out they had forgotten to make them. At this point, I noticed the kitchen using low-quality plastic-like cheese for the food, so I checked whether our food had been started. Thankfully, it hadn’t, so we cancelled the order and requested a refund. To make matters worse, they refunded the wrong amount, and I had to correct them. There was no apology or curiosity about why we cancelled the order—just indifference. This is truly a case of “you get what you pay for.” The staff lacked any understanding of hospitality, defined as “the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests.” If there were an award for the worst café in Australia, with staff who would clearly rather be anywhere else, these guys would be finalists.
