What people say
Stayed a night on a whim. Campground is small (4 tent sites) so was beautifully quiet on a Sunday night, well designed and clean. Facilities decent but basic: drop/eco toilets, bring your own water and remove your own rubbish. Short walk to basic picnic spot (couple of tables), a few walking trails and lovely water holes. Only disappointments were the lack of any meaningful onsite acknowledgement of local Aboriginal peoples (shameful), and the atrocious layout of the NSW National Parks website. It is literally the worst NPs website in the entire country. Seriously my dudes - please just get some actually decent park/trails maps and then... (revolutionary idea!)... put them in👏the👏same👏place👏 on the website as the walking trails info. Why would those *not* be together? And yes, I did eventually give-in and download the app instead. It wasn't good either, lol. It did make me laugh, but it didn't help me plan my trip at all 😂
Beautiful and wonderful Australian National park, places for camping, hiking and riding your bike, stunning waterfalls and amazing sunsets. Have spent the last 15 years exploring this national park and still find new and exciting places to explore or see. There are pit toilets but would recommend bringing your own toilet paper, there is no fresh water either so be prepared or bring something to filter or boil water.
Amazing scenery. Beautiful walks. The little waterfall swimming hole was a gem. Please like my review if it was helpful. Pro-tip: Check out the Old Dairy pheasant ground Air B n B in Robertson or the Run @ Pheasant Ground RV camping. +61 428 266 094
The peaceful serenity and walk out to The waterfall is both amazing and beautiful. The calm around the area is intoxicating. With a cafe and toilets the national park is well worth the trip.
We couldn’t find the viewpoint to the grand fall... but we ended up here and had so much fun, even without swimsuit. But a pair of good shoes is recommended if you want to get into the water. We met a very friendly family on that day, may god bless them.
