The Vintage Secret Garden

Right from the parking, you will see that this restaurant is different. The name itself has bit of mystique and grandeaur and I would say it delivers on it. There is no concrete parking lot and it's on a ground sort of place. It has a spacious indoor and outdoor seating available and unfortunately we couldn't get outdoors. We were ushered to one corner. As with all the post covid modernization, this one has both physical and virtual menus. Points to be added for the virtual one as every dish had photos for them and it made our ordering more easier and accurate. Am sure, in absence of it we would have left wanting. I mean our intention was to order Truffle Fries not knowing what it was and in picture it looked like regular fries. The friendly waiter told us if we haven't had Truffle oil before, he wouldn't advice us owing to bit of bitterness. It also helped in ordering our mains as well. We ordered Vintage Arinchini, Potato Wedges and Zucchini Flowers. Arincini balls very crisp, well cooked and the rice within was quite cheesy. The accomponying sauce added to the flavour. Best of all, both my daughters loved it. Zucchini Flowers was served hot. It was tender to eat and well cooked. The sweet chilli sauce accompanying the Wedges was quite a surprise. Coming to mains, we ordered the Vintage Veggie Amore and my goodness, it was one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. The Kids Penne Nepolitana on the other hand was quite bland, didn't have any salt. It could have been better. To finish off, we had the Sticky Date Pudding. It was delectable to say the least. The cake by itself was bit dry and had good date flavour in it. The taste that you get when you mix in the chocolate cream, the vanilla ice cream and the cake is what defines the whole thing. Indelible. The only minor complaint I have is trying to get someones attention to order. It becomes bit difficult. We were told not to order on the app and hence I did find this part difficult. But overall, the food and the ambience makes up for it. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice family meal or a date night. The prices are on the higher side but you get what you pay for.

Terrible food & service & One Manager without a valid explanation. Once we reached there, we found out that you have a set menu after 5PM. You did not disclose this on the time of the booking on your website or on booking forms. They had extremely limited options to order for $75, one soft drink, one entree and one main course, only 4 options for vegetarians. 2 in entree and 2 in mains, pastas ordered were horrendous, we did not finish and left. We could not leave earlier as you took the credit card details beforehand. This is not your regular food, I have been at your place multiple times. Last night we felt ripped off and cheated, only if you have disclosed the set menu and displayed the menu at the time of booking, we would have never booked. Ruined Valentines dinner. Photos attached of the food that we have left uneaten. You can check cameras if you like. Cheers The Restaurant Manager Josh reached out after I sent them an email explaining the high standard of the night & how important it is to have a set menu but is unable to provide the reasons why it was not advertised as according to him the booking portals is not their responsibility & are not able to edit any menu on any booking portal.

This is hidden gem. Very beautiful location and amazing food. Vegetarian food was also very very tasty and appealing. Service and staff was very friendly as well. Had to travel 50min for breakfast but it was worth.

The settings and dinning environment of this place is great. you can take some great photos for sure. But I was very upset with the service I received upon arrival. Arrived at the main entrance and waited to be seated as the sign requested. Saw a man in white uniform sitting at the corner table checking his laptop. Thought oh maybe he is on his break so it is fine he did not come to attend us. Then waited for about a minute or two no one came. Looked around saw a girl in the kitchen putting things away. OK she did not see us. Was not upset about that cause she was just working. I understand Wednesday morning would be quite with less staff. Walked in a bit hoping someone would come but no body showed up. While all of these are happening the guy in the uniform had multiple eye contacts with me but he did not bother to acknowledge our presence or inform the girl that there were people needed to be seated. In the end I just walked straight to the bar and asked the girl if they are open or not. She apologised for not seeing us earlier and seated us down quickly. Food was ok, as you can see from the photo, bacon and sausage were dry and hard to chew. Eggs were undercooked even the egg whites were running. Juice was probably made with bottled ones it was way too sweet even after all the ice melted. But none of these bother me as much as being ignored completely at the door.

Totally unexpected ambience and decor as I walked inside this spectacular restaurant and venue. We ordered the 🩵 Souvlaki Skewers for two (GFO) Mixed skewers of lamb, chicken + spicy lamb sausage, grilled halloumi, greek salad, served with tzatziki, toasted pita bread + fries $59.90 💜 Prawn Inferno Napoli sauce, cheese, cherry tomatoes, onion, roasted capsicum, garlic prawns + chilli $33.50 🍸 Vintage Long Island Iced Tea Tequila, gin, vodka, rum, Cointreau, lemon juice, hibiscus, strawberry monin and a dash of pepsi. Garnished with fresh lemon $21.00 🥤Chocolate milkshake $10.50 It's delicious. Service is amazing and always tentative to me. Definitely great for date nights and events and wedding venues.
