What people say
Peaceful park with nice mangrove and wetland. I saw many people camping/picnicking and there are two toilet blocks, one playground and many car parks.
Good kayak launching spot. Low tide there is very little water so check tide times!
Greating camping spot, one recomendation bring a couple of stones to chuck at the annoying stupid bush turkeys.
Better known as Crosslands Reserve, this park is something of a hidden gem offering facilities for picnics, camping and bushwalks. Located at the end of Somerville Rd Hornsby Heights it’s accessible from all sorts of Hornsby shire. Can get busy on weekends and holidays.
