The Sir George
The Sir George is set within beautifully maintained gardens, with a level of detail and landscaping that gives it a more refined feel than a typical pub setting. Outdoor seating is spread across both sun and covered areas, with heaters available in cooler weather.
There's also a marquee-style setup that helps make the space usable year-round, especially during winter. The overall setting makes it as much about the grounds as it is the venue itself.

This is a Must Visit for a meal during your trip on the Hume Highway. Conveniently located with dog friendly shaded outdoor dining. Easy to order via the table app. We order the share plate of local trout with 2 side dishes included (beans and rocket salad) Wonderful fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared. Sensational food. We can't wait for our next visit.
The Sir George restaurant cafe in Jugiong impressed us from start to finish! Their chicken parmigiana were tender and green beans were perfectly seasoned , the sommelier recommended a fantastic local coffee and sumptuous variety of dessert . Cozy atmosphere with a lovely outdoor patio. The staff are polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience. Congratulations to the whole team! Me and my fiance Steve are impressed by their service and hospitality. Overall, I’d rate it 5 stars because of the ambiance and the service is excellent! I will definitely return with friends!
Had dinner at The Sir George in Jugiong and honestly — loved it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt relaxed but polished. Huge shoutout to Dip and Thazin — they were so pleasant and made sure everything was exactly how I liked it. Left very happy and would absolutely go back.
We didn’t stay at the St George, but had a standout dining experience at The St George Restaurant in Jugiong. The setting is beautiful and relaxed, making it the perfect place to enjoy an exceptional meal. The steaks and lamb are outstanding, cooked to perfection, and the sides are just as impressive. Every detail feels considered and high quality. The restaurant is located near The Long Track Pantry, which is also a must visit during the day, this restaurant alone is worth the trip. Highly recommended.
It is a beautiful location with greenery. outside is lovely and inside has amazing air conditioning for summer. Quick order response for food. Coffee is good but ordered in a different place and drinks are ordered in the bar again in a different location within the establishment. A tad annoying but really doesn’t matter.
