Seven Mile Beach is a long, clean stretch of sand on the far north coast, with plenty of space for a beach walk. Dogs are welcome on-leash along this northern section, while the designated off-leash area is further south at Lennox Head, north of the surf club. The long shoreline makes it a good choice for dogs that enjoy sand, water and a steady coastal walk.
Dogs are permitted on Seven Mile Beach on-leash. The designated off-leash area is at Seven Mile Beach north of Lennox Head Surf Club, ~2.5km south. Keep your dog on-leash and under effective control; clean up after your dog.
Beautiful long clean beach with fine soft sand! Perfect for all to enjoy swimming, surfing, fishing or just playing in the sand. You can take your dog north of the Surf club for a leash free run but no dogs allowed south of the surf club. Free dog poo bags are available at the entrance to the bog beach.
We love bringing our dogs to the dog friendly part of this beach. So friendly and good fun
Such a great beach!! Great place for swimming, surfing and snorkeling. Really nice place to walk your dog and spend time with the family. Best beach on the north coast!
Excellent long and wide sandy beach. Extends to what feels and looks more thab 7 miles it is perfect for surfing - but you need to get your tides right. There are inlets and chanels to get in the water past rocks on the southern side of this beach close to Lennox Heads - the nortern part is sandier. Beautiful and clean, perfect for long walks as well.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
