Leonard Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Roselands where dogs are welcome on lead. Around 650 metres away, Elements Brasserie Belmore is a great spot for a post-walk drink.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Leonard Reserve, a Canterbury-Bankstown Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
Just a small reserve near my place with a small play area, small basketball court, no toilets, large carport, opposite peppinas
Because of some things, I need to kill 2 hours. Discovered this lovely little park with a shaded play area for the kids, a half-court basketball court, a small green area and lots of seating. Wish there was less rubbish around the kids area!
Leonard Reserve was okay even though we tried to call them because my basketball went down the sewage drain pipes, so my friend went down the drain next to the ladder even though no trespass sign was up there. My friend got my basketball back, and I had to wash it with soap water. There was a phone number that my friend tried to call the park number by not once but twice she answered. It was a hard time getting it back down the sewage. Conclusion it was not a bad day after all.
The park as a whole is alright. Let's start with the cons it's so messy there's so much rubbish and unclean. The pros is that it's a great little park for families to hangout on picnics and have so much fun, if you're like myself and like writing or drawing in natural then I recommend this park as its decenly quite.
This park is always dirty with bins over flowing and rubbish everywhere, I walk past every day and it's always the same. strange the there are actually picnic tables when the area is so small yet just down the road at clempton Park where there is a large park there are none. One good thing is that there is a basket ball court
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
