A Symphony of Flavours! Last night’s dinner was a masterclass in balancing robust, hearty flavours with fresh, vibrant accents. The menu tempted us in every direction, but we settled on two standout dishes that perfectly showcased the kitchen's skill. First, the Lamb Rump was nothing short of spectacular. The lamb itself was cooked to a perfect blush-pink, tender and succulent. What truly elevated it was the ensemble beneath: caponata, goat cheese and pine nuts. The entire plate was brought together by a drizzle of aromatic basil oil and a bed of fresh rocket, which cut through the richness with a welcome peppery bite. Every component had a purpose, creating a harmonious and deeply satisfying plate. Equally impressive was the Prawn Linguine. This was a vibrant, spirited take on a classic. The pasta was flawlessly al dente, coated in a brilliantly seasoned Napoli sauce that tasted of sun-ripened tomatoes. Decent amount or prawns soaking up the sauce. The semi-dried tomatoes offered richness to the sauce. It was a dish that felt both comfortingly familiar and utterly moreish. We couldn't resist ordering a bowl of chips, that was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. Together, these dishes made for a perfect meal. The chefs clearly understand how to source quality ingredients and combine them with confidence and creativity. We will absolutely be returning to explore the rest of the menu!

I've stopped here for a beer when ot first opened, but this is my first time trying the bistro. As others have said, the venue is quite pleasant to look at. Modern fittings and layout, but some things are off. The large circular booths are very impractical. A lot of wasted real estate on the table where there is no seating, and talking to others on the table is difficult. Anyway, to the food: we ordered a selection of starters (Woodfired garlic puffs, pumpkin and feta arancini, pork bao buns), a Ceasar salad, and a margherita pizza. The garlic puffs were very oily, and are basically small bread rolls soaked in butter and garlic. The Arancini was bland and tasteless, and was 98% pumpkin, 2% feta. The Bao buns looked promising, but desperately needed more sauce. The pork looked good was also bland and tasteless. The pizza was overloaded with mozzarella cheese. I desperately wish more bistros knew how to make a proper margherita pizza. Loading packaged mozzarella onto it isn't a good thing. The QR codes on the table don't work either. Yet another annoying little thing. I may consider returning one day, if they change the menu or the cooks, and get some of the basics right.

We were hesitant from the mix reviews but lucky we got to try. The food is good - sure it is may be pricey, but what place isn’t at the moment. Chips were crunchy, and generous portions. I guess we were lucky to come on a good day - Wednesday 7pm. Food came out promptly. Staff were very friendly. Very chill vibes.

Recommend going with young families for the outdoor undercover playground. The food was good but it didn’t have a kids burger on the menu. The regular burger looked like a kids burger size which was rather plain with only pickled cucumber and tomato sauce. Not sure why it didn’t have of the regular toppings on it. We ordered the pizza, kids fish and chips, a garden salad and a bowl of fries. These were all good. The coffee was great but took a little while to come out.

What a bunch of cry babies 🙄 What were you guys like on your first few days in your new jobs? If your that hungry and impatient… go to one of the other pre-existing establishments in the area, that has years of experience and get your meal in 10mins. Anyway. We had dinner here on their first Sat night since opening. Yes, the wait times are a little long (we waited 45min) but we were catching up with friends, so it went unnoticed. We all agreed the food was awesome and was worth the wait. Here we ordered a garlic pizza (woodfired), both chilli & BBQ chicken ribs, pork belly bites, calamari, snitzel, rib eye, lamb ragu, cheeseburger and kids pasta. Each dish, was actually delish. My opinion - one of the better pub feeds in the area. I thought the prices were pretty on par… remember the steaks are priced on cut and marble rating. I don’t care about the delays, because I’m an understanding human. ✌️ I’m sure once they get in the swing of things, the service times will improve. Definitely our new local favourite.
