What an Awesome Pub !! Located on the Main Street of Uralla. Looks just as Good on the Inside as it does Out. Has Lots of Seating Options with Dining Rooms and a Large Beer Garden. The Staff Are Super Friendly and Helpful. The Pub has a Really Nice Vibe. Thinking, The Great Staff have Something To Do With That ! Had a Guinness and the Mixed Grill. Being a Busy night. It took a little While. But, was Truly Worth the Wait !! Each Component was Cooked Perfectly !! Was Amongst the Best Mixed Grills I’ve Ever Had !!

Oh my. My hubby and I dropped in to this pub today on our road trip. We couldn’t believe the extraordinary range of food on their menu!! Stacks of vegetarian choices and stacks of meat choices. And the food, goodness gracious! Hubby had fig stuffed chicken in creamy sauce and I had the vegetarian burger. Bloody fantastic! The burger was incredible and hubby was delighted with his chicken. If only city pubs had this range of food. Particularly as a vegetarian, when so many places have a bloody salad as their one vege option, this range was awesome. Well done to the owners and workers.

Another steak night in Uralla, but regrettably this place did not live up to expectations. Firstly, I'm delighted to say the bar staff were fantastic and had a real vibe behind the Bar. But, unfortunately this is where it ended. The restaurant has an online booking app (which is fine and common in many cities) but may have fooled Management into thinking they don't need any staff in the restaurant. So, no one to explain where to get cutlery, clear the plates, etc. No chance of asking about individual dishes on the menu, etc. The tables next to ours had plates with leftovers stacked on top of each other. When wait staff finally arrived, they were sullen non communicative and didn't want to be there. Management needs to hire some more wait staff and give some basic training on how to smile. Plus a refresher for the Cooks. The two steaks were all cooked two levels over the doneness ordered and the lamb backstraps were also overcooked. Lamb needs to be served pink or you lose a lot of flavour and moisture. The pink steak in the pics is supposed to be Blue, not medium rare. Very disappointing at these prices. The restaurant is in a nice room, but was crowded with the tables too close to each other.

Got a scotch steak with chips and mushroom sauce delivered. At first I thought it was a bit expensive, but after eating it all. Wow. A pub that can finally cook a medium steak medium and with a beautiful crust, with what tasted like a homemade mushroom sauce that was too die for!! The chips as well were a perfect balance of crispy and fluffy too. Fantastic feed. Highly recommend.

Food was spectacular!! We ate here both nights because the menu was amazing. It catered for all tastes and by far outdid any pub in Sydney for quality, size and deliciousness! Charlie the manager was fantastic and knows how to look after customers. All the staff were lovely and professional, special shout out to Kira for having some laughs with us!
