Ordered two coffees a couple weeks ago, they were great. However I caught one of the female staffs roll her eyes after calling out my order (iced caramel oat latte) when I took my time walking up to get my order. Why would you do that? It made me honestly sad. I don’t think anyone would appreciate an attitude just like that. It’s not like I was gone for half an hour before fetching my order and made you wait. But coffee is nice. Thank you.
Food quality and taste is great, but the portion is on the smaller end. Being next to the playground makes it very convenient for those with kids.
While I’m well aware that prices have gone up these days, I was shocked at how small the kids’ spaghetti portion was when I ordered it. I complained, but they insisted it was the same as the usual portion, well-portioned at 100g. After just five big forkfuls, it was gone… $16 simply disappeared.
Leaf Cafe in Top Ryde shopping centre is located in the kids precinct and primarily caters for parents with young children. Expect to hear frequent screams from kids playing in the nearby pen. Despite how busy the cafe was on a Monday morning, the service was quick and my avocado toast was served in about 5 minutes. It was a pleasant dish, a moderate size serving with the added twist of sprouts, Spanish onion and the occasional heirloom tomato. This cafe is recommended.
Food was well presented, however, both dishes were overly salty. Drinks were good though. Service could have been better. Dining atmosphere was okay, just a little noisy due being close proximity to kids play area within the shopping centre.
