Grind & Co. Pemulwuy is a cafe in Pemulwuy with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 600m away, Dirrabari Reserve Fenced Dog Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Grind & Co is a small café located just outside Pemulway Marketplace with mostly outdoor seating with overhead cover. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered the mocha, which was standard, nothing particularly remarkable but enjoyable. The Philly cheesesteak was simple with a good amount of meat. The fries were slightly soggy, but the garlic aioli served alongside was flavorful and a definite highlight. The enoki truffle bowl offered a good mix of flavours, though the truffle taste was quite subtle. The generous mushrooms and garlicky chili kale complemented the labneh well. The poached egg was cooked perfectly, but the bread could have been more toasted. The pesto felt unnecessary and didn’t quite fit with the dish. Overall, Grind & Co is a nice spot with decent food and friendly service.
Good little café with plenty of parking. There’s both an indoor seating area and an outdoor area to enjoy. If you’re sitting outside, be mindful that birds often fly around, and if food isn’t cleared quickly, they tend to gather. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We tried the avocado toast and the famous Breaky Burger, both were generous in portion. The coffee was great too, which we really loved.
Stopped in at Grind & Co Pemulwuy for lunch today and was really impressed. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was outstanding – the steak was tender, perfectly cooked with a nice pink centre, and packed full of flavour. The bread was fresh, the fillings were generous, and everything came together really well. It’s definitely one of the better steak sandwiches I’ve had in a café setting. The menu itself is very appealing with so many great options that it actually made it hard to decide – which only means I’ll have to come back soon to try more. The coffee was also excellent, rich and smooth, which is exactly what you want from a café. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a nice outdoor seating area that’s perfect for enjoying a sunny day. Service was friendly, and I found the pricing to be fair for the quality and portion size. Overall, Grind & Co is a great spot whether you’re after a good meal, a coffee catch-up, or just a relaxed place to sit outside and enjoy. I’ll definitely be returning soon to try more of the menu!
This was once our favourite cafe but since it was renovated ALL our favourite dishes have been removed from the menu. They couldn't even get our coffee order right and the peanut butter they brought my daughter to have on her toast was like oil. When my daughter paid the girl on the register the girl couldn't even give her the correct change. If I could give a rating of zero stars I would.
I visited Grind & Co recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. When I asked for the menu, the manager looked at her watch before responding, which immediately made me feel unwelcome. Especially after mentioning that the kitchen closes at 2:30pm. She then said, “Give me a second, I’m going to tell you where the menu is,” with a smile, but the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional rather than accommodating. It’s disappointing when that first impression comes from management, as it sets the tone for the whole venue. That being said, the girls on service were fantastic, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They really lifted the experience. And to be fair, the food itself was good and very tasty. The kitchen delivered. I just hope the leadership side of things can match the quality of both the food and the front of house team moving forward.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
