Lunch with friends from out of the area. Very nice food. Caesar salad, steak sandwich and half lobster roll. Others had the same. Will definitely be back again.
Great coffee, lovely staff & atmosphere. Not a once off but every time I've popped in.
I happen to come here being the nearest coffee to where I had to be, had bit of time to kill. Thought I try their avocado & salmon bagel.. it was Amazing! It was so fresh & delicious I ate so fast forgot to take a photo.. And being affordable they will see me again, going with a friend soon.
This Cafe is down the road and today was rainy and windy so we decided to skip going to the planned spot and chose The Shed. Walked to the entrance and was ignored, grabbed a menu and got the barista's attention and asked if we just sat anywhere, "yeah", so we sat and checked out the menu. Ordered at the counter and watched the electrician working to get the centre finished as we waited for our coffee and breakfast. For a new complex they sure have alot of leaking roof panels......guess this heavy rain will show the poor build that is common nowadays. Anyway, coffee comes to the table and 1 sip in and I am dreading my decision to alter destination. The grind had been left in the portafilter on the machine either for too long before extraction or over extracted and was bitter. The wife had to sugar up her coffee which we normally drink sugar free. The food comes and is presented very nicely but that was the only highlight. My lobster roll was fridge cold, it was like biting into a roll of cold lobster coleslaw. I gave it to a lovely front house staff who took it to the kitchen to show them, but they sent her back to me saying it was suppose to be like that. I politely pointed to the menu where it says the cheese sauce is scorched until its bubbling, which resulted in it coming back to me with a once over with a torch or a few seconds under a grill. Cheese sauce still cold and the lobster coleslaw salad still fridge cold, left 3/4 of it on the table and left. Might be teething problems or who knows, but won't be back until the place is up and fully running.
