My family and I have been coming here for years. Since they have changed their seating out where the play area is it’s been a shit show. People are constantly tripping over the chairs that are there. It’s a stupid design and should not be there. Multiple people trip even my own family members. Today my sister and I were there with our daughters. Unfortunately my 3 year old daughter was calmly walking towards the opposite seat that I was on and had tripped over the chair leg. She has smashed her face on the chair then the hard floor. I picked her up as another by stander across from us tried to catch her. I turned my daughter over and she’s covered in blood. She smashed her face so hard she tore her top labial frenum has a swollen lip teeth marks in the top of her lip near the labial frenum and a bloody nose. Luckily her nose isn’t broken her mouth was pouring out blood I went down to the bar maids to make a complaint the First Lady I spoke to was an angel she had sympathy for my daughter and took my details to hand to the manager another bar made came past and butted in making me feel like my complaint wasn’t worthy. Later the manager had approached me asked if my daughter was okay. Didn’t offer to make the complaint higher didn’t watch the cameras like I told her to. Pretty much gave my daughter a cloth with a few ice cubes and placed it on her face for a few seconds. We had a conversation with the manager at said table as 2 other ladies walk past and also trip the Second Lady actually bumped the manager so I called it out and said this lady just tripped and her reply was “no she hit me”. Absolutely terrible the way she handled the situation. They need to change the seating back or swap them over it’s not safe for anyone what happens if it’s a mum holding a new born trip or a senior they could end up with a injured baby on their hands or a senior with a broken hip. Update your seating the right way and consider your customers safety not aesthetics.

Good cheap place if you're on a budget, food is delicious considering the price 🔥

Still under renovations on the inside been like this for a while from reading other people's reviews. We came in for lunch on 1 rainy weekday. Ordered a rump steak with salad and hard chips, a pasta dish with bacon and mushrooms, garlic bread which was tasteless and hard, and a small portion of fish with hard chips. Food is what you'd expect from a pub.. nothing to write home about. Atmosphere is non exsistant as there was only a handful of people in there and the ones by the billard table you'd wish you'd never came into the place by their use of colourful language.

If I could give less then 1 star I would. We decided to go here for lunch today l, ordered schnitzel bosciola and a parmigiana, it looked literally like vomit on a plate! We gave it benefit of the doubt and tried to eat it (we were starving) 4/5 bites later just couldn’t stomach it! It was absolute garbage and we agreed it was the worst meal we had ever had in our lives. I’ve honestly had hospital food that tasted 100x better. It was really shocking as to how terrible it actually was! Don’t eat here

Okay pub. Renovations still underway. Meals are well sized and fair quality, but prices on website are out of date (gone up, of course). Also Saturday schooner prices up too from website (says $4.50 but now $5.80). Update your information Uncle Buck. Pool was still free, but only one table. Service was fine. Restaurant only takes cash payment which is a hassle in 2024. Get a square, at least.
