Check and double check your food order. Great food very poor service front the elderly gentleman taking orders. Our group had 3 orders wrong. Really not good enough. A good club very friendly staff.

Want to thank the Bowling Club and staff for hosting our group of former Windale and Gateshead friends for our Réunion. Great service and food. A afternoon we'll all remember for a long time.

Windale Gateshead Bowling Club is a pretty spacious club with several areas with plenty of seating. There is a bistro that operates between certain times with great food at good prices. They also have 2 small areas with some poker machines to play. They have 1 big bar. There's also a huge grassed area for bowls. The staff are very professional, friendly, utterly lovely & always eager to give assistance if needed. I found all the locals I came in contact with were to be extremely friendly & very sociable. I go there every couple of months as I'm from Sydney & I go up there to visit family so we go to the club every time I see them we love to go there for lunch & for the raffles. I also became a member myself. I recommend going there for good food, a good time, to try your luck both on the pokies & the raffles & just for a great day out.
