Absolutely lovely pub/hotel. From walking in to checking out the service was so good. The young man who welcomed me and walked me to my room was above and beyond. The bar service this morning getting a lemon squash was very nice, and the rooms are very cosy and comfortable. Only a quick stay but I would definitely return.

I just had an amazing stay in the North Sydney Hotel. Great location, close to metro station and other attractions in the northern part of the city. Staff is super helpful and friendly, always open to support in any type of queries. Rooms are beautiful - in the vintage style (personally i loved everything about the stay) very clean and comfortable for longer and shorter stays. Highly recommending!!! :)

The lamb chops at Percys bar at North sydney hotel were just perfect. Easily on par with any other location. Well trimmed, well cooked, with a rich sauce on delicious mash. But the bonus was a range of fresh vegetables also perfectly done, not just a medley but anice variety, all nice and crunchy. Then some mint jelly on the edges of the plate and picked herbs. Just perfect. Very impressed. $34. Lovely atmosphere here too with comfy tables and chairs and heaps of different beers on tap.

The food at Percy’s is exceptional and consistently impressive. Anytime, any day of the week, the steak is cooked to perfection, and even the steamed vegetables are crunchy, offering a nice variety, all dressed in lemon juice. The cannon of lamb and special slow-cooked beef cheeks pair beautifully with the basil reduction oil and the silky, flavorful sauce. The pan-fried barramundi, served with chips or steamed vegetables and tartar sauce, is another all-time favorite of ours. Additionally, their vegetarian burrito bowl is the best in Sydney—healthy and extremely tasty. The special attention to detail in every dish is something you typically don’t find in a bar restaurant; it offers fine dining quality at very affordable prices.

I’ve been here a few times over the years & went again recently for lunch, I’m not exactly local, but it’s worth going out of the way for. Great atmosphere, clean, very friendly & helpful staff with good prices. I took the time to log in and review this time because the food is consistently so good. I’m not a foody so don’t know how to articulate this well, but the food was a level above what I expect from a quality pub meal, I could tell they care about what was put on my plate & my friend had the same experience. The staff were obviously busy with daily operations, but we were definitely their priority, service was fast, friendly & they made us feel welcome. Looking forward to going back again soon.
