Went tonight to our 5:45pm booking before an event at sydney olympic park. Ordered promptly (around 6pm), with the screen saying it was a 35 minute wait before at 6:30 staff came out to tell everyone they were closing early at 7:30, so last orders in the next 10 minutes. At around 7:15pm, we asked where our food was (as it had been over 1 hour) to which they replied it was 4 minutes away and they would be giving it to us in takeaway containers as they want to close and not clean the dishes. We had a long walk and needed to be at the game so after a further wait for our ‘takeaway’ we asked for atleast a partial refund , where we were met with a blunt response that we can either take our food or not. 1. we were not told when calling to book that a 5:45 booking may not be enough for them to make our food before 7:30 early close? 2. Don’t take orders if you can’t serve them on plates to your customers and say they will be 35 minutes if they won’t be 3. You can’t charge someone full price for meals that were not even served on a plate, without even a 10% refund. 4. do not close early if your customers have not all been served and shut the doors on paying customers. we ended up being late to our event; eating salad (that contained ingredients we specifically asked to be excluded) with our fingers as no cutlery was provided, in takeaway containers at a place we had booked a table and waited to be served for hours. i understand the staff tried their best and were understaffed but you can’t just close the store and shoo your fully paying customers out with a doggy bag.

The hotel staff were amazing, even got help up the stairs with my bags. The bar was a vibe and friendly. The location was perfect, right next to Concord West station that takes you right into the city centre. The amenities are as you expect and very minimal - if you have done hostel living this is perfect for you. Otherwise, a good spot for one night if you can rough it. Ideal location for events at Sydney Olympic park.

Amazing Food and drinks shame the Indian girl wearing glasses and dark curly hair who was working the pass on Friday 11th Dec was so rude! No greeting, dirty look and not even a nice smile… doesn’t take much to smile hun if you don’t want to be here don’t work. On the other hand bar staff were amazing!!! 10/10

This hotel is a pub, not providing accommodation. It's renovated, clean and quite popular. Located adjacent very short walk from the train station, is best to catch a train if you're going to have a few drinks. The main bar is spacious, serving a variety of beer. Meals are reasonably priced and tasty. There are gaming machines TV's to watch sports and TAB machines. The staff are friendly and the pub is a safe place to share a drink with friends.

Fantastic experience at Hotel Concord! The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are always friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently excellent — great portions, fresh ingredients, and full of flavour. The venue has a great mix of relaxed pub vibes with a touch of class, perfect for a casual meal, a night out, or a family get-together. Always a pleasure to visit — highly recommend! 🍻✨
