Wynter Tavern

Took husband out for his birthday and our family members came up from Newcastle for the day. The only downside was that when we got home we worked out we were over overcharged as we purchased 2 for 1 lunch, but was charged full price for 2 lunches. Everyone enjoyed the food and the bar service was also great. Very friendly staff.

Excellent meal, very large serves of succulent roast pork and veggies. One serve would have been sufficient for both of us. Leftovers were an excellent frittata for dinner today. Very welcoming and efficient staff. Good crowd in for a Sunday lunch. Great selection of beverages.

Best place to eat while commuting from Brisbane to Sydney. There are lot of commercial places on the way and this place stands out cos of its location and amazing food and service. This place is open till 12 . There are deals for lunch and also deals based on days. We came on Monday and had 2 for 4 deal and I had basically to only pay for one meal. The food was amazing, the steak was cooked to perfection , the pasta had great taste and well cooked, chicken parmigiana was served delicious and the chips on the side had amazing flavor. We had to reorder the chips. There is great option for vegetarians in this tavern. Highly recommend this place to individuals, groups and family. The place has a nice rustic vibes with a modern outlook. The service was top notch. Will definitely visit while return back to Brisbane. Keep up the good work guys!🔥🔥

Wynter Tavern is one of excellent local pubs in Taree. Amazing food, great deal and special every day during the week, friendly and helpful staff, and cozy atmosphere. We would love to try different options in the menu but chose salt and pepper calamari and schnitzel. Calamari was soft and perfectly cooked, schnitzel was well prepared with well cooked vegies. Worth to re-visit!!!

Had a wonderful experience as always.. Food was amazing and staff we're lovely. Perfect place for all occasions. Definitely will comeback again.
