What people say
The beer was cold at lunch, but lucky I was hungry otherwise I would have asked for my $24 back for a fish burger which was on special. My wide didn't eat her $30 Nachos it was that awful. The cook was rude and abrupt. Normally I would talk to the staff directly but not the rude cook. Some people are just not meant for customer service. The bar staff were fine. Come on guys you can do better.
One of the best parmy’s I had. The prawn and Haloumi salad was also so fresh and delicious. the best place for lunch or dinner at Catherine Hill Bay 👌🏼💯
Friendly nice little restaurant. I was impressed by the squid 🦑 burger. 🍔 definitely worth trying.
Not only was this my first time being here, it definitely won’t be the last. The burgers were as fresh as burgers should be. The Chicken Deluxe burger was amazing, all the flavours they had combined together made it the best experience. The Fish burger had fresh fish and that’s rare nowadays, it was lightly battered and fluffy inside and the homemade sauce it came with just topped it all off. The environment is peaceful and just a walk up the road from Catho Beach meaning you can stop by for lunch or dinner on your way back from having a nice swim.
Great old pub. Staff are friendly. Live music on the weekend is a nice touch. Plentiful seating outdoors and a good area for children to run around and in. The food is proper pub grub. It’s not outstanding food but it’s a decent feed and reasonably priced (28 for a dozen oysters and 60 for a seafood platter for 2) so no complaints here. It’s a pub they way a country pub should be
