Seven Seas Hotel is a pub in Carrington with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 800m away, Carrington Dog Off-Leash Area is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Went for a beer and early dinner with the dog. Seating outside but was quite windy. Beers good price and cold. Plenty of options on the menu. Ordered barramundi and salad and a pizza. Both meals very very good and quite quick. Kitchen busy with lots of takeaway but did not delay our meal. Would definitely get pizza from there again if we were locals.
The hotel rooms are really dirty stayed in a single room for 6 nights stained rug in room multiple blood stains on the room walls from people killing mosquitoes and dry snot on wall right next to the bed under the bed hasn’t been vacuumed in god knows how long as there are dead cockroaches and bits of toilet paper and chocolate wrapping left for me to see in check in. Stayed for 6 nights total not once was the room cleaned not once was I offered a new towel and they don’t even provide basics like shampoo or soap that you can use to shower . When I requested this I was told by bar staff they are a simple pub that don’t supply any of these basic amenities. Do yourself a favour and pay the extra $20 and stay somewhere else way overpriced for what it is even if it seems cheap to start with. On the bright side I tried the food in the bistro it was good and the staff were nice downstairs in the bar.
The older man that works here is so sweet and kind along with all the staff Overall I liked the room it was clean and simple and for the price I think decent the only creepy thing is I felt watched because every time I walked into the bathroom to shower or go to the toilet someone always walked in and I just think that’s weird that a person can’t wait if they see that I’ve closed the door behind me to have a shower …which would’ve been 10 mins at the most so very little time to just be patient .. Also she was probably unaware But the lady upstairs that lives there was really abrupt at telling me the air fryer and toaster were hers and all though she just wanted to make sure I cleaned it which is fine I also think it’s the staffs priority to let people booking a night know that those things are off limits because the staff just said there’s a kitchen and a bathroom without stating that ..which is no major problem actually I just think communicate it maybe just so it’s not awkward because u felt watched by her all the time … Other than that staff are Beauiful and one of the male staff helped me bring my bags upstairs which was so lovely Also the girl that checked me in was a doll The bathrooms do feel a little camp style and a little gross but I mean $95 for a night on nye was cheap The bed was comfy And I liked that it has a mini fridge and microwave and easy check out with putting key on box
The team are always very friendly and the food is great. It is really decent value for better-quality pub food. It's great to see a pub that has so many regulars - there's always someone there. I'd suggest the friendly staff and decent prices keep the locals coming back. A very good sign.
Never actually stayed or been to this place but I live not too far down literally two doors down and they play the same repeated beat all day long for 17 1/2 hours. They open at 9:30 am and close at 3 am in the morning on our weekday when people are trying to sleep for work they get to sleep for work. Why can’t anybody else or are they that up themselves at this hotel that they think nobody else deserves sleep but them. Seems cool the place but extremely annoying at night time when you’re trying to sleep for work I don’t think that This is an okay behaviour during the week to be playing music till 3 o’clock in the morning.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
