Poppy's Verandah Cafe

Interesting cafe setup within a nursery and the food was delightful. Table service and menu variety was enough, parking directly out the front. Recommended for breakfast or brunch.

Poppy's looks nothing like a cafe when you drive in, but don't be fooled by the nursery, it is a well equipped Cafe with plenty of dining space. I suggest you book ahead of time as this Cafe gets bustling! There are normal and disabled parking and is wheelchair friendly. Toilets inside. The menu is creative and has enough variety for adults and children to pick something you will like. The food was delicious, and the presentation was on point (see photos). Staff were friendly, though had to get their attention a few times to order, but it was no problem. Family friendly space with children of all ages present. And to boot the nursery as you walk in is filled to the brim with delights that would inspire any green thumb. Would definitely come back here.

I visited this amazing cafe twice in two days. All staff were absolutely brilliant, especially Stephen. The food was presented beautifully & was very tasty. There were several items we could have selected from the menu. My mum & I loved the decor of the cafe & the nursery itself has a gorgeous selection of plants & outdoor decorative items. I will definitely come back when I’m in town next.

Had a lovely mother's day brunch there the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the coffee made exactly how we liked it

We really loved the shop! What a great collection! The atmosphere of the cafe was amazing, but their coffee was very disappointing. There is definitely room for future improvement.
