The Cove Kitchen & Bar is a bar in Williamtown where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
This is the most disgusting, amateur, food out of a can experience. The bar and Cafe have different menus even though it comes out of the same kitchen, so good luck of you're a family looking for variety. Disgusting doesn't even begin to describe the food... loaded nachos have fake cheese that made us feel sick, and cold beans pit of a can, like dog food, slopped on top. Warm up the beans and I'd give 1/2 a star. You have the ability to charge airport prices, which we expect, but this shameful slop means we will always, always eat before we come. Whoever is in charge of quality control and system at the airport needs replacing immediately. Honestly, im so disgusted im giving my time to warn others about this experience... something I would never normally do. Eat. Here. At. Your. Own. Risk.
Incredibly annoyed to find out that a vegan sausage roll that I was assured by the cashier/manager and another staff member was gluten free was actually NOT gf. This is very serious for coeliacs as it is NO FUN to be very ill on a five hour plane trip to Perth. This is a very amateur operation.
First time I tried these guys, everywhere else was busy and this place wasn't. I ordered eggs on toast, I got it, but with no butter. The order took forever to come out. Nearly missed my gate. Round 2 today, smashed avo on toast, again no one around, took forever and had to yet again shovel the food down as my plane was boarding. Seriously lacking in customer service, I am not sure if it is their fault, seems to be common in Australia. Just no general greeting manners etc. The chef should be wearing gloves and handling the food properly. Basic stuff guys. I realise it is an airport, however it is a nice place you have with plenty of potential. Why screw it up so early? We are here quite often, so I will give it one more shot, otherwise we will eat elsewhere..
Cold dry burger, over salted almost inedible chips for what you pay you'd expect decent food but this is absolute trash. Maybe you need to train your cooks, maybe you need to get better ingredients who knows, but you shouldn't legally be able to to serve food this bad Telling me to reach out via your company website doesn't work, your same company has been destroying beer at Newcastle airport for years. Your keg lines and taps in the old bar need to be scrapped if you want to make a difference fix your product. Telling people to reach out in other ways that you ignore does not work
I thought I’d try this new cafe today whilst the airport. It’s great to see some new places that actually have decent food. I ordered a drink that wasn’t on the menu. We don’t do that I was told. A lovely staff member ( Chloe) trying to help the customer which is what your actually in customer service for suggested a milkshake with a shot of coffee. The staff member shot back that’s not on the register and with that the staff member taking the order stormed out of the cafe leaving customers everywhere. I was able to get it and make it myself at the table. It’s such a shame as this cafe has the potential to be amazing. I’m a manager of 15-20 staff in the hospitality area and the way the ladies in the black shirts ( presumably managers) spoke to the staff and whispered at the coffee machine was appalling. Well done to the other staff for actually providing great customer service and meeting the customers needs. The food was fine and tasty. We all had breakfast and the coffee was good. I just hope that this feedback can be taken on board and greatness is to come for this new cafe. Well done Chloe for your help today. Staff like you make a place succeed. You were amazing!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
