It’s fun but the basketball courts need to be fixed. It’s on a slope and the ground has cracks. The rim and backboard also are kinda bad.

A small yet lovely park tucked away in the centre of Marrickville, an ideal place to relax amongst the Marrickville Town Hall, library and numerous popular cafes. I highly recommend a visit to Jarvie Park: its sprawling fields, playing courts, trees and equipment deem it an entertaining yet secluded location for all visitors alike.

Jarvie Park has a fairly decent concrete basketball court, where you can find a man--who generally wears a metal t-shirt--shooting with his sick skills most days around 5-6pm. Come down and challenge him if you're brave enough.

Great park with a lot of utilities in the area. There is a playground for the kids to enjoy, a basketball court for basketball and an exercise ground for those hoping to work out their abs, biceps and triceps . With a few tables around its a good place for a small picnic or even a short break in between commutes.

Our kids are always on the lookout for parks - especially parks with "equipment". We came here the other Sunday - we were exploring Marrickville - and parked our car near this lovely park. Plenty of playful equipment. - and other kids. My son made a new friend - he's 3 so is the kind of thing he's into at the moment. Our 8 year old showed off her acrobatic abilities - young bones really do bend! A wonderful early autumn day at the park - Jarvie Park!
