Cool place. Looks expensive but is not, looks quality and is. Nice combination. You need to buy the vanilla lemon muffin and ask them to warm is. Amazing centre of lemon that we cont work out how they got in there. All sorts of things to look at and the scenery is exceptional. The service was good and the parking plentiful.

Part of the Hydro Majestic, Devonshire Tea was very nice, although a cup would have been better for the tea than a paper cup. Wooden cutlery too. The view from the cafe is as good as inside the hotel. One could lounge here for days.

Disappointing. My pie had been in the warmer a long while and was quite dried out. The pear and raspberry bread was lacking in pears and raspberries and the butter so hard it was still rock hard when the toasted bread had gone cold. The coffee was nothing special and didn't make the stop here in any way worthwhile. It's card only for payment so be warned.

The atmosphere feels the same but food is mainly pre-prepared so don't come here expecting everything to be freshly made. We can on one of the wettest weekends so the view wasn't at its best but I've been here during nice summer days and we've always had a great experience looking around at the historical furniture and browsing the local produce and crafts. Worth visiting if you haven't been before to check it out.

Don’t bother, we went for a coffee/cake and walked straight out. The cake slices look like they were sitting there for a while, the wraps as well. The food counter was empty. Dark dreary interior , the view is spectacular though. This could become a beautiful cafe. Don’t waste your time only if you like displays of old cash registers.
