Free council bush campsite. Dogs welcome on-leash. Adjacent to creek. (Source: BMCC camping page, bmcc.nsw.gov.au/camping.)
This was the best free campsite we had. We were lucky to find a good spot by the creek with table and a fire pit - (sadly some campers had no respect for other user and natures because they left their rubbish on the pit). By the late afternoon it got really busy, plenty of campers looking for spot. It was a good night because everyone was quiet except for one who collected died woods and thought a good fire was in order, smelling smoke after wards. All i could hear was the stream, the sky was so bright of stars at night. Toilet has no smell and there was water by the brocken sink. Big campervan is unsuitable, this place is small.
Excellent place to camp… gets busy with backpackers later in the afternoon. Drop toilets were cleaned when we stayed for two nights. Get in early for a great spot.
Campground is down into the valley. Campfires were lit and lots of smoke around. Great if you don't mind but it doesn't easily clear up. There are two toilets available but both taps to wash hands aren't working. Disabled parking for one campspot available but when there it was occupied by someone who didn't look disabled and no sticker displayed on car. Plenty of spots for tents, but if you have a caravan, you're limited by those car camping who should be occupying the smaller spaces available.
Beautiful spot! Nice and quiet and there’s a little creek that runs through the middle of the camp ground. 2wd cars can enter! No showers or power but there are pit toilets.
Nice free camping spot, very full! Even in the offseason. No flushing toilets, few benches, no water. Very friendly foxes coming out at evening/night, looking for food. Not scared at all, the came within a few centimeters of distance. But don't let them fool you! They look very cute but they steal your shoes at night so don't leave them outside. I lost a pair of Birkenstocks and woke up to 4 other campers searching the bushes for shoes. I also wouldn't leave any food outside.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
