It was our first time here, roast was delicious and huge. I was also shocked about how nice the courtyard is, perfect for a Sunday afternoon ☺️
Came for a Sunday Roast after hearing good things online. It really delivered! Huge portions, quick and friendly service, and delicious food. Tried both the pork belly and the beef. The pork was tender and perfectly cooked with crunchy, crispy crackling. Beef was pasture-raised sirloin; flavourful, tender and perfectly cooked. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed and you definitely won’t leave hungry.
As my local pub, have eaten here many times. Whilst the food can be hit and miss it's generally a great feed and the Manager Kovid is such a great guy, always friendly and attentive. Alice is great too. The atmosphere staff and comfortable seating always entices us back
We recently visited this pub and were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the attentive service. From the moment we walked in, the venue felt warm and inviting, striking that perfect balance between casual and comfortable, yet with a menu that delivers much more than you’d expect from a typical pub. The standout of the evening was undoubtedly the chicken parmigiana. Generous in portion and cooked to perfection, the chicken was tender with a golden, crisp crumb, topped with just the right amount of Napoli sauce and melted cheese. It was hearty without being overly heavy, and served alongside crispy golden chips and a fresh salad that balanced the richness of the dish. It’s clear that care goes into both preparation and presentation. Other meals at our table were equally well-received, reinforcing the sense that this kitchen values consistency and flavour. The menu offered a great variety, appealing to both traditional pub diners and those looking for something a little different. The service was friendly and efficient, with staff checking in at the right times and creating an easygoing dining experience. Combined with the relaxed atmosphere and good selection of drinks, the evening felt well rounded and enjoyable. Overall, this pub exceeded expectations and delivered excellent value for money. If you’re after classic comfort food done exceptionally well—especially a top-notch chicken parmigiana—this place is well worth the visit. We’ll certainly be back soon
This was a surprisingly good pub. Not sure why it's not rated higher. It had a really good vibe and friendly staff. Plenty of beer options on tap. Plus their roasts looked really good. Saw several plates full up on meat. They also had vegetarian and vegan roast options too. It's not a bad spot. Plus live music on Sunday afternoons, to create an even better vibe.
