A 'secret' beach popular with locals, it's well protected from large coastal swells making it perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Its golden sands are popular with families while the rock ledges to the north and south are well-known, but sometimes dangerous, fishing spots. Access to the secluded beach is via a steep timber staircase. Take Pine Avenue off Anzac Parade and there is parking on the street. A café is located in the Prince Henry Centre towards the top of the beach near the chapel. Public toilets and change rooms are located on the timber staircase about halfway down to the beach. The beach is not patrolled by Randwick City Lifeguards or Surf Lifesavers. Dogs, alcohol and glass bottles are not permitted on the beach area..

Great swimming spot, the bay is always wonderful to see and enjoy the great beach ⛱️
Great beach for family, plenty of parking spot weekdays during school holidays, got a lot of natural pool, only downside is the stairs and just the 2 bathroom (very dirty), lack of cafes and shops, however a good opportunity to cut cost and just BYO lunches
Very nice beach. Not super accessible via public transport though. Also come with bare minimum facilities (one toilet only)
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
