My rating reflects happy hour experience 5-6pm, the French Rose is beautiful and some great prices for champagne. Hot dog was good but could improve on the acidic onions and relish - needs balancing. Service was attentive and personable. My Friends really enjoyed the dark vampire den atmosphere but I found it a bit too dark

I visited during happy hour after a friend recommended this place for its burgers. I went in without much expectation, just looking for a quick bite—but I ended up really enjoying the experience. The vibe of the place was better than expected, and the food was genuinely delicious. If you’re visiting during happy hour, I highly recommend it—the prices are unbelievably good! The fried chicken was crispy and tasty, but the real standout was the burger. Cooked to a nice medium, the patty was juicy and paired perfectly with the sauce. Honestly, the hot dog was just average—but everything else more than made up for it. The downside is that it takes a long time to order and receive cocktails.

Incredible bar with a vintage touch. The bartenders are divided by sections, which makes your drinks come faster and gives the service a more exclusive feel. You can tell they really know and master a wide range of cocktails.

The bar was a real hidden gem, creating a unique atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. The bartenders were fantastic, and the cocktails were both delicious and reasonably priced. 200% recommend

The Catepillar Club is an unassuming little pub in Martin Place, nestled between two buildings leading to an underground world – it feels like stepping back into the 70s! 🪩 The atmosphere is so great for taking photos 📸 The taste and texture has always been so consistently delicious 🤤 I highly recommend the buttermilk fried chicken! 🍗 It’s a must-try for me. The super cripsy texture paired with crunchy pickle slices 🥒 and a creamy ranch dressing, topped with a few small chili peppers (the chicken itself isn't spicy) 😋😋 The beef burger was also really juicy and filling. The serving size is also quite generous, perhaps one might not be able to finish it alone. Save with happy hour daily from 4-6 pm, drinks are also half-price – such a good deal, especially for students. We ordered non-alcoholic drinks, which were very refreshing. I've also tried their classic cocktails, the Blue Lagoon Fizz and Lychee Martini, before – both were great. The alcohol content is low, so you can drink them without worry. The staff were also very accommodating; very nice and friendly to everyone. Feel free to request for dietary adjustments; they are very approachable. 😊 10/10 would come again for the great food and atmosphere.
