Nice food. Love the Paella and octopus grilled with mash potato. Galician mushroom and grilled eggplant were all presented well and delicious.

All of the entrees we had was all really tasty. We started feeling full by the entree so we only had a little bit of the main course and take away in the end. The service was great. They do have Sunday surcharge. We were there Dec 2025 to celebrate my stepdaughter 18 birthday and we asked if they can do a special dessert for her. It was a great experience we had.

I would give this place 3.5 stars. Overall, our dinner experience was good, but not quite fantastic. The quality of the food was very good 👍 — especially the cured ham, croquettes, and the beef tartare. I highly recommend the beef tartare! It was absolutely delicious 😋 That said, the portion was quite large for an entrée. It was a bit too much for one person to finish alone. It would be great if they offered a half-size option at half the price — I think that would make it perfect. The sangria was also very nice. Would I go again? That's the question.

Had a nice table across the harbor. Beautiful view, weather was perfect! Cool on this summer Day. Tapas is the specialty so go with it. We chose the Prefixe for two and it did not disappoint. Each dish bursting with Umami! It will go above and beyond your expectations! Hence the five star rating. If you’re visiting Sydney and looking for a casual place to dine it the Darling Harbor area. Tapas dining allows you to try a variety of dishes. I highly recommend BORN. Make your reservations and enjoy!

I loved every dish I tried Veal was cooked brilliantly, best veal I’ve had (but I’ve only tried bad ones). This one wasn’t dry or too tough Pork cutlet was the best pork cutlet I’ve ever had in my life (everyone on my table said it was amazing). The flavour was insane Paella rice was perfect. The best paella rice I’ve ever had in my life, even though some reviews were mixed from my table. I’ve been to Spain and this one’s better than the ones I’ve tried from there. The flavour profile is fantastic, and the socarrat is at the optimal level, nicely crispy without being burnt. Octopus was very good too, didn’t order Patatas bravas but it smelt lovely whenever another table ordered it. Waiting staff were great, lovely location and atmosphere on a Monday night. Possible Improvements: Sangria did taste watery, our fish dish (which I didn’t try) looked cool but we weren’t expecting it to be a raw sashimi style dish but rather a cooked one- should maybe specify on the menu or upon ordering. Overall, Should definitely come and try it! :)
