Fagan Park is a large, popular park in Galston with a fully fenced off-leash dog area featuring double-gate entry, drinking water, and waste bags. The broader park is extensive, with themed gardens, BBQ facilities, playgrounds, and two car parks. The scale of the park means there's always room, even on busy weekends. It's a good option for combining a dog run with a longer family outing.

There’s plenty of parking, with two car parks, and two playgrounds for kids. We came for a walk and enjoyed the many flowers in bloom. There’s also a very large fenced off-leash dog play area, complete with bin bags and tennis balls provided, which was great to see. Plenty of shaded spots make it ideal for a picnic. There are also ample toilet facilities. Additionally, there are some short bush walks just off the main path—they’re brief but enjoyable.
Beautiful park, with several shelters for picnic, bbq, and enough parking spots. We visited there over the weekend it was quite crowded but as the park is big, it was ok. There is a nice playground for kids available. Also many ducks in the pond. It is a dog friendly park, also has a small fenced area for dogs at the back.
Such a stunning park. Reminds me of Richmond Park back in London. The paths are great for the kids to cycle or scoot around and the mini gardens based on random countries are great for wondering around. Well worth the $7 car parking fee and easy to spend a half day getting back to nature with the kids.
Fagan Park is one of the best spots in Sydney's north for flying a drone. The open spaces are huge — proper rolling lawns and meadows that give you all the room you need for safe, scenic flights. The lake is the standout feature though, surrounded by mature trees that look stunning from the air, especially in golden hour. Parking is plentiful and free, which is a rarity in good photography spots, and the park is clean, well-kept, and welcoming. There are themed gardens to explore on foot too if you want to make a half-day of it. A real credit to the Hornsby Shire — peaceful, beautiful, and drone-friendly. Highly recommend.
"A truly beautiful place to visit and easily one of the most recommended parks in Sydney. Located near the Dural region, it’s an absolute gem for families. The BBQ facilities are excellent, making it the perfect spot for a weekend getaway!"
