Our family of four (including 2 teenagers) absolutely loved the walk on a cold winter's morning in July. The path is well-maintained and at no point did we feel unsafe. It's built to fit in with its natural surroundings and is unfenced most of the way, allowing you to feel quite immersed in the landscape. It was a magical experience trekking  beneath towering overhanging boulders and alongside cliff walls, with ferns and lush greenery, dripping with moisture, growing from cracks and crevices. From time to time, the path opens up to breathtaking vistas of the Wentworth Falls, majestic sandstone cliffs and the vast eucalyptus valley below. There's really never a dull moment along the path - it's scenic throughout the way. We did just the Undercliff section, as part of a combo with the Wentworth Falls Walk. The whole walk took us about 2 hours, with plenty of stops to admire the vistas and take pictures. While this review focuses on the Undercliff section, the rest of our walk was just as interesting and scenic. Here's our combo of the Undercliff-Overcliff Walk and Wentworth Falls Walk: -Start at Wentworth Falls Picnic Area -Wentworth Falls Track (clockwise) -Fletcher's Lookout -Top of Wentworth Falls -Grand Stairway (we did only part of it) -Return to Fletcher's Lookout -Undercliff Walk -Shortcut through Princess Rock Track, back to Wentworth Falls Picnic Area

We walked the Overcliff-Undercliff Track today with the family and absolutely loved it! This track is truly one of the hidden gems of Wentworth Falls – peaceful, scenic, and not too challenging, making it ideal for all ages. The views along the way were stunning, with dramatic cliffs, lush forest, and tranquil lookout points that made it feel like we were discovering something special at every turn. The track is well-maintained and easy to follow, with just enough ups and downs to keep it interesting without being too hard. We had a fantastic day out and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rewarding walk that combines natural beauty with a manageable pace. Will definitely be coming back!

Embark on an incredible adventure that promises breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences! This hike is not for the faint-hearted—it's a challenge, but the rewards are absolutely worth it. Make sure to bring your camera, as you'll be treated to stunning views of the mountains that will leave you in awe. You can start your journey at either the Wentworth Falls picnic area for a scenic loop or from the Conservation Hut, where another thrilling loop awaits. Depending on your hiking experience, the trek will take you between 1 to 3 hours, but every moment will be filled with excitement and beauty! Don't miss out on this amazing hike!

Beautiful track, less stairs then other tracks at Wentworth falls. Grade 3. Waterfall views, stepping stones and beautiful scenery. Take the extra tracks for additional lookouts. Go early as it’s very busy on weekends.
