Old Ford reserve a large beautiful free campsite located close to the 6 foot track. With on site drop toilet amenities and a place to wash your hands . Plenty of large flat spots with fire pits. Walking distance to Coxes River with tranquil views of Megalong Valley Plenty of room for caravans and camp trailers . Would recommend for a free campsite whilst in Megalong Valley
Nice big free camp ground with lots of fire pits available. Drop toilet with a tap to wash hands, but not drinkable and it was so cold it froze over. It's close to a stream where you can get water if needed. Not a lot of flat ground for tent camping and more suitable for car camping. Does get very cold as it's down in the valley, our tent froze overnight.
Awesome campground well maintained didn't find any other camper rubbish left behind, congratulations to Blue Mountains council for having the best free campsites in NSW , They have about 5 free campgrounds in the area, so check there website for location details
Great free campsite. We arrived a little late (past 8pm) and it was busy, but we still managed to find a spot. Lots of friendly campers, clean facilities, and a beautiful track (six foot track) close by.
Nice free camping spot! 🌿 We swam in the creek, walked the Six Foot Track, and even went wine tasting at a nearby winery. Such a gorgeous area with plenty to do. Highly recommend for a relaxed getaway!
