Waratah Park Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Sutherland with plenty of shade.
Dogs are permitted on-leash at Waratah Park Reserve. Sutherland Shire Council requires dogs to be on-leash at all times in public reserves and spaces unless within a designated off-leash area.
Toilets are always locked 🔒, are we suppose to relieve ourselves in the bush? Council cannot afford someone to come and open this basic facilities after we pay soo much tax?
Great local park with lots of grounds for sports and training. they have parking in both sides of the fields plus toilets as well. This park also has lots of trees so if you are sports watching you might be able to score some shade as well. There is a large cycling track on one side and even a honey museum close as well.
Good area for kids and adults for relaxing and exercise, HOWEVER the garbage receptacles were very limited/missing
Another sports oval in the Waratah precinct, this one mainly used for soccer. Located next to the cricket nets and next to the bike track, this oval has leafy cover for spectators but recommend byo chair if you are going to be a spectator.
Free park for athletic related activities. Basic running grass track, long jump track etc available.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
